Unicef’s global supply hub is located in Copenhagen, Denmark where a majority of the supplies for disadvantaged children that the NGO supports is shipped from.

The department in Denmark consists of both storage facilities and a connected office space, which will expand even further and move to another area in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, within the next few years.

NORD Architects were client advisors on the new office where we helped define the needs for the future Unicef work space through extensive workshops and thorough analysis. The workshops addressed themes such as functions, needs, flow and connections, sustainability requirements, accessiblity, preference for design and layout of office landscape, outdoor spaces and meeting rooms.

The assignment concluded with an analysis of needs- and functions that was described in a rental property description.
