The Danish Court Administration

Transforming offices to make better use of the space

In the autumn of 2023, The Danish Court Administration moved from inner Copenhagen to new premises in Amager, Copenhagen. NORD Architects were client advisors for The Danish Building and Property Agency in connection with the move and refurbishment, which was part of a larger strategy to gather more public workplaces together.

The Danish Court Administration is responsible for the administration and development of the Danish courts. The building of their new office was erected in two stages in 1955 and almost 40 years later in 1992. The latest transformation, finalized in 2023, entailed new offices and meeting rooms, better use of space and a significant upgrade of the ventilation system.
