NORD Architects is the client advisor for the Ministry of Defence in connection with a new headquarters for the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. It is the first time in Danish history that a building is being constructed specifically to house the entire intelligence service, and the project is the largest public-private partnership with a budget exceeding 2 bn. DKK.
The project is extremely complex. As a client advisor, NORD Architects has been responsible for developing the building’s functions and defining the framework for the building. The entire building has a very high level of security and unique infrastructure requirements. Additionally, the construction is intended to provide a modern and future-proof office environment that can accommodate organizational changes easily.
