Nord have joined Reduction Roadmap, a platform where a large part of the building industry has joined forces to achieve the goal of building within the planetary boundaries.

We support Reduction Roadmap that aims to implement legal requirements saying that all new builds should comply with The Paris Agreement and release less than 5.8 kg CO₂/m₂/year from 2025. The current requirement is 12 kg CO₂/m₂/year.
The construction industry accounts for approximately 30% of Denmark’s total CO2 emissions. The primary cause is currently the use of concrete and steel, which could be improved by using sustainable sourced wood instead.
